Kreevo knew from a young age that it was not his destiny to toil under the crushing darkness of the underdark but what exactly, he did not know. As a child Kreevo was always found to be…overly curious. He would always find himself in collapsed and forbidden sections within the city much to his clans dismay. And try as they might, Kreevo’s parent’s could not get him to stay on the path of the Rockfists, a noble path of processing and curating precious gems. While he had no real interest in the business he did his part in the administrative section working with other clans and sometimes merchants from the surface world. And it was one such merchant that he grew to admire, Alannon, an elf man who was very strange indeed. Whenever he came to visit Alannon would always make it a point to visit Kreevo and show him some magic every now and again, he shared stories of what the surface world; epics, tragedies, romance, and heartbreak all of which enthralled Kreevo. As Kreevo grew, so did his curiosity and soon this curiosity pushed him to the bounds of his clan’s patience. At the age of 18, threatened with exile Kreevo asked his parents if he could instead become an apprentice to Alannon. They were more than thrilled to get rid of such a headache and Alannon was only too happy to once again have a pupil of his own. And so, Alannon showed him the way to the surface world and the vast mysteries of the arcane and he hasn’t looked back since.
