She born among peasants or slum denizens. She grew up working the land around a village, practicing the rudimentary trade of table waiting, or begging in the settlement. Both of her parents were Serfs. In her early life, she was a victim— easy prey for those stronger or cleverer than herself. They beat her when they could, using her for their sport. This abuse nursed a powerful flame of vengeance early on.
She was bullied to the point she ran away from home into the woods. She camped out there for a while until one day something happened. The circumstances by which she gained her powers are confusing, even to her. She simply awoke one day with the power to manipulate the mind in both positive ways and negative ways. She strives to find the meaning of her powers, as they drive her life in unforeseen directions. She was close to a person who claimed to see the future—perhaps an seer of sorts. Whether they’re true or a trick, she saw visions of distant places and of times that may come to pass. The seer’s influence either made her into an optimist with a drive to learn the art of seeing into the mind and manipulate it.
She has a bad habit of looking onto someone’s mind as she is suspicious of most people. She also has an issue with trust and taking someone as face value. She’s had a fling or two, but has so far shied away from any ties or commitments. In her eyes, her moral philosophy is the only correct and true way of the world. She will gently pity, argue with, or brawl with those misguided souls who don’t see the world your way or by her light of reason.
She doesn’t seem to go by any one name, but seems to switch the ones she wants to be called daily. Something about names intrigues her. No one really knows her birth name, not even her, but one could only guess.
